RoTate Gallery

Rotate Gallery embraces the new convergence of contemporary art and it focuses on ambitious projects by emerging artists. Situated in a newly established modern two-story space, artists may use its intimacy or its grandeur for installations, performances and concerts. Rotate Gallery will represent a select group of artists with solo and group shows.

Cyryl Zakrzewski

The paintings of Cyryl Zakrzewski present disordered world of shapes and meanings. Interested in different themes he tries to show complexity of our world, where our imagination is ruled by images from television and internet. Inspired by art history, pop culture and personal experience he tries to find cultural paradoxes and comments the past as well as the present. The works are shifting between figurative and abstract forms, loose smudges of paint combined with known shapes give a new context, and allow wider interpretation. Important is the process of reading the painting and simultaneously connecting with it other images that are not necessarily recognizable. Cyryl Zakrzewski has exhibited in United States and Poland.
